DRI

The essential starting point for objectively assessing companies critical dependencies.

Digital Resilience Index

Digital resilience has long been approached through fragmented lenses : cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, crisis management, and regulatory compliance. While necessary, these approaches fail to capture the true structure of the risks and opportunists to which organizations are exposed today.

In response to this situation, David Djaiz and the consulting firm Ascend Partners initiated the development of the Digital Resilience Index (DRI), with a clear ambition : to provide organizations with a reliable, shared, and operational metric to assess their digital autonomy and manage their resilience and technology stack. Designed as a universal and open-source framework (Creative Commons license), the DRI aims to move beyond a simple technical protection approach to understand organizations as living and interdependent systems.

DRI index

The DRI establishes a weighted map highlighting the levels of resilience.

Critical

Total dependence. Any stop or unilateral change by the provider is fatal. (or) Strong lock-in, non-portable data, complex and costly exit.

DRI Dimensions

A multi-dimensional reading of resilience.

The DRI is not limited to technical indicators. It offers a structured assessment of the main dimensions that determine an organization's ability to absorb and adapt to disruptions. It is based on 8 key dimensions :

01

Strategic

02

Economic and Legal

03

Data Resilience & AI

04

Operational

05

Supply Chain

06

Technological

07

Security & Resilience
